How to subscribe to email notifications for a publishing queue

This guide covers how to subscribe to email notifications for a department’s publishing queue, when a new unassigned publishing request is received.

Configure email notifications 

Open your department’s publishing queue.

Select the Filters drop-down, then All issues to create a customised filter for your email notifications.

Once the All issues page is displayed, you’ll see a set of filters you can customise for a project (publishing queue):

To configure email notifications for , configure the following fields as a filter:

  • Project: select your department’s project from the drop down, for example FP - Dept. Government services

  • Type: select All standard issue types

  • Status: select Waiting for support

  • Assignee: select Unassigned

You’ll then need to select JQL:

Then delete the word and in the filter string and replace it with the word or:

Select Save filter:

Then name your filter with the project name and the type of notification. For example FPSDP: new tickets

Select Filter details and then Add subscription

Select your preferences for how often you wish to be notified about new publishing requests.

Do not select Email filter, even if there are no issues found.

Select Subscribe
