Logging into the Vic Gov CMS
This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to log in to the Victorian Government’s Single Digital Presence (SDP) content management system (CMS).
Prerequisites
You should have a user account already set up. If you don’t have a user account, request a user account. (This form only applies for websites listed as Websites within the content.vic.gov.au CMS. For access to the other websites listed on this page, contact the department or agency’s digital team.)
Know your username and password.
Steps
1. Open the CMS signin page
Navigate to http://content.vic.gov.au in your web browser.
2. Enter your username
For VPS content creators:
Use the formatfirstname.lastname
.For eServices content creators
Enter your full email address.
3. Enter your password
Input your current password in the designated password field.
4. First-time access and password setup
If accessing the CMS for the first time, you'll be prompted to create a new, strong password.
A strong password typically includes a combination of letters, numbers and symbols.
5. Two-factor authentication
Your site will probably also have two-factor authentication (TFA) set up. Read about How to set up you your two-factor authentication.
