How to use the Related links and What's next components
How and when to add links in the Related links and What's next components.
Related links help the user discover other content available (for example, highlighting Women's equality in the LGBTI Equality section).
What's next links are optional. Only use these if there is a clear next step.
On this page:
Rules for adding related and what’s next links
Create short, descriptive links with no full stop.
No more than 7 links on a page.
Do add links that could be useful for a reader but aren't directly related to the content.
Don't add related links that are already listed in the body content.
Example of link text
Use: Action plan to improve Aboriginal Victorians health and wellbeing
Avoid using: Korin Korin Balit-Djak (the actual name of the document) as it doesn't make it clear what is behind the link.
Follow the Australian Government Style Manual when using capitalisation.
