Prepare an image

Ensure the image you’re adding is dimensions are 496 pixels high x by 818 pixels wide (JPG format). You may need to resize it first.

If your team has a UX graphic or web designer, we recommend asking them to prepare the image for you.

  1. Navigate to the page that you'd like the custom image to appear from.

  2. Go to the 'Feature image' section.

  3. Click ‘Select Select images' or 'Remove/Edit’ Edit if there’s an existing image on the page.

  4. Upload your image.

  5. Add alt-text if the image is informative. Leave the alt text field blank if If the image is decorative, enter two inverted commas (““) in the field.

  6. Save your the page.

  7. Change the state of your the page from 'Draft'to 'Needs Review'.The content team will publish your page.

  8. Once the page is live, your custom social media image will appear when you share the page on social media.
