SDP publishing update

As we shift to our federated publishing model, departments and agencies are responsible for publishing their own content.

Who's eligible for publishing queue training?

To be eligible, you must:

Get started with publishing queue training

Step 1: Submit a new request 

Submit an online request for publishing queue access

You need to attach email proof or a note of endorsement from your Senior Digital Manager.

Step 2: Watch the training videos and complete the quiz

Once your request has been approved, we'll send you a link to our training videos and the publishing queue readiness quiz.​

You will be introduced to a range of platforms, channels and people as part of the program: 

  • Single Digital Presence publishing queue/s  (Jira service desk)

  • Digital Victoria Help Centre (Jira customer portals)

  • SDP publishing knowledge base (Jira service desk)

  • SDP community in Microsoft Teams > Approver channel

  • SDP publishing round table (selected approvers per team)

Description

Induction session

This 45-minute session will help you understand the permissions and responsibilities of having Approver level access in the Single Digital Presence CMS.

Publishing queue management (Service Desk training)

When you receive notification that your Jira Service Desk licence is active, schedule a training session at a time that suits you to learn how to manage publishing requests.
