This page shows details of the grants and programs, publications and news content types.

Grants and programs

  • Total users (all grants and programs): The total number of visitors who visit a grant or program page. This is tracked through the use of the Grant template.

  • Total sessions on the landing page vic.gov.au/grants: The total visits with engagement in a certain period of time to this landing page.

  • Unique pageviews: Pageviews generated by the same visitor during the same session (a session lasts until there is 30 minutes of inactivity; reloading a page in the same session will not be counted as a unique pageview).

  • % Δ: An increase or decrease in the unique pageviews. An increase will have a green arrow, and a decrease will have a red arrow and be a negative number.

Publications

There is the option to filter to a specific publication by choosing the publication name, or look at the data for all publications on vic.gov.au.

  • Total users – (publications): The total number of visitors who visit any publication page, and a smaller number showing whether this is an increase (green arrow) or decrease (red arrow and negative number).

Publications (first table)

  • Page title: The title of the page, as it displays in Google Search.

  • Pageviews: The number of views for the page, regardless of whether the views are done in the same session, by the same visitor, or with reloading the page.

  • % Δ: An increase or decrease in the pageviews. An increase will have a green arrow, and a decrease will have a red arrow and be a negative number.

Publications –'print all' sessions

This is tracking the “printable” webpage version of a publication, which is shown if a user clicks the “Print full document” button.

The “Print full document” button appears on all publication templates.
  • Page title: The title of the publication, as it displays in Google Search.

  • Pageviews: The number of views for the page, regardless of whether the views are done in the same session, by the same visitor, or with reloading the page.

  • % Δ: An increase or decrease in the pageviews. An increase will have a green arrow, and a decrease will have a red arrow and be a negative number.

Publication landing pages with downloads

This table includes any publications that have included a downloadable file on the publication’s parent page.

  • Publication name: The title of the publication’s parent page.

  • Unique events: The number of times the downloadable file has been seen by a unique visitor within a session.

  • % Δ: An increase or decrease in the downloads on the page. An increase will have a green arrow, and a decrease will have a red arrow and be a negative number.

You can also click on a specific publication name to filter the results in the Files downloaded from publication landing pages table – this will show you what downloadable files are included in this publication.

Clicking on the publication name again will reset the results.

Files downloaded from publication landing pages

Files downloaded from publication parent pages.

  • File name: The name of the downloadable file and its URL.

  • Unique events: The number of times the file is downloaded by a unique visitor within a session.

  • % Δ: An increase or decrease in the downloads of the specific file. An increase will have a green arrow, and a decrease will have a red arrow and be a negative number.

You can also click on a specific file name to filter the results in the Publication landing pages with downloads table – this will show you what page(s) the downloadable file is embedded on.

Clicking on the file name again will reset the results.

News

  • Total users: The total number of visitors who visit any news page (using the News template), and a smaller number showing whether this is an increase (green arrow) or decrease (red arrow and negative number).

  • Page title: The title of the news page, as it displays in Google Search.

  • Pageviews: The number of views for the page, regardless of whether the views are done in the same session, by the same visitor, or with reloading the page.

  • % Δ: An increase or decrease in the pageviews. An increase will have a green arrow, and a decrease will have a red arrow and be a negative number.
