This guide covers how to:

  • preview a front-end version of a draft page as a Content Management System (CMS) user

  • send a front-end preview (share link) of a draft page to a non-CMS user.

On this page:

Preview a draft of your page (CMS user)

Once you've created and saved a draft, you'll get an option to preview your content in the View tab.

Click the link to preview the draft of your page.

A login prompt may appear, but if you’re logged into the CMS, it will open up a preview of your page in a new browser tab.

You will know that the page is a draft because it will display the notification: Draft only and not yet published.

Share preview links (non-CMS user)

Share preview links are a similar to a screenshot of your page. If you send a non-CMS user a preview link, and make further changes to a page, you need to create an updated Sharelink.

  • Your reviewers don't need to log in to the CMS to access the preview.

  • You can delete the share preview link.

  • You can share preview links for multiple versions of your page.

Create new page or save a new draft of your page.

Click the Revisions tab of your page.

Find the revision you would like to share. Click the dropdown arrow and select Create share preview link.

You can now copy and send that share link to anyone and they will be able to view a draft of a page.

Share links are set to last for 30 days, however you can shorten or extend this in the Edit Share link tab.
