What it is and when to use it
Reusable content is a ‘chunk’ of content. It’s similar to campaigns and image libraries in that you build it in one part of the CMS and then you can reuse it on as many pages as you like. Next time you have a correction, you make it in one place rather than on every page. Thus it’s useful for things like contact information or a set of steps or instructions.
Content types
Reusable content can be embedded in the following SDP content types:
Landing page
Publication and publication page
Reusable content item types
Currently you can build reusable content using the following SDP components:
basic text
accordions.
How to create a piece of reusable content (SD-336)
Navigate to Content ->Paragraphs
Click the Add New library itembutton.
In the Label field, write a clear description. This label is only used in the back end. It’s useful to preface the label with your site name and other information to help find it again.
On the dropdown you can currently select Accordion or Basic text Navigate to Content ->Add Landing pageonly.
Continue to create your piece of reusable content and save.
How to embed a piece of reusable content on a page
Reusable content can be embedded in the following content/page types: Landing page, Publication, Publication page.
Be in Edit mode in your content.
Click on Add Component
...
.
Scroll down and click on From Library
...
Publish the content
...
Go back to Content ->Paragraphs, check if the count in used column is updated for reusable paragraph
...

Now in the page content area, you’ll see the Reuseable paragraph heading and button.
You’ll see a popup screen headed Select reusable paragraph. If you can’t find the piece of reusable content you created, you can use the Label field and the Type filter to filter the results.
Select the radio button next to the reusable contents and click the button Select resusable paragraph.
Publish the content.
